Does Riders Resort provide pick up and drop off services?
We do not, but we can help book a ride for you.

What is the booking and cancellation policy for rooms at Riders Resort?
If a booking is cancelled or modified 8 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival with a proven valid reason and documentation, a cancellation or modification may be approved with a full refund or a refund with a 20% cancellation fee deduction at the discretion of the management. However, if a booking is cancelled or modified after this period of time, including no shows, there are no refunds.

In the event of rooms or horse riding services being unavailable on the preferred date of an approved booking modification, there will be a full refund. All refunds will be made by cheque and the processing time will take up to 8 weeks.

Are meals included in the price of the rooms?
Breakfast is included in the price of the rooms. If you’d like to add on full board meals, you will be able to do so when you make a booking.

Am I allowed to bring in outside food?
No, we do not encourage outside food being brought in.

Are the meals served at Riders Resort halal?
Yes, they are.

Does Riders Resort cater to special dietary requirements?
Yes, we try our best to accommodate requests. Let us know your dietary requirements when you make your booking so we can make preparations for your food in advance.

What are the visitation/stable hours to see the horses in the stables?
You will be able to visit the horses in their stables anytime from 8am – 7pm.

What time are lessons and trail rides?
Lessons and Trail Rides are available daily from 8am – 12pm and 2pm – 7pm.

How big a group can Riders Resort accommodate for horse riding activities?

What is the minimum age for horse riding?
Three years old. However, the suitability of the potential rider is taken into account before any permittance to ride a horse under guidance.

Do I need prior horse riding experience in order to ride?
No, you do not. There will be many qualified trainers and handlers present who will be able to provide guidance and assistance for riders of all levels.

Is Riders Resort able to cater to riders with specific physical needs?
We do not guarantee any rider with a specific physical need requiring a certain type or size of horse will be accommodated, although we will try to do so as much as possible.

Cancellation Policy
• For hotel rooms booked under a specific hotel offer package, the right to cancel your hotel room booking, applicable cancellation charge and no-show charge are set out in the Terms and Conditions applicable to that specific hotel offer.
• For hotel rooms not booked under any specific offer package, the right to cancel your hotel room booking, applicable cancellation charge and no-show charge will be determined by the room rate selected by you.

Reservation/Booking Terms
• Rates quoted are based on your period of stay and are subject to change if you change your arrival and/or departure dates. Rates quoted are in Ringgit Malaysia. Rates are based on the number of adults confirmed at time of booking. Rates are subject to 10% Service Charge and prevailing Sales and Services Tax.
• A rate modifier will apply should you decide to stay in a higher room category than the one originally booked. All services not included in the hotel offer package or in your room rate shall be charged separately.
• Any extension of stay will be charged based on either the prevailing room rate or rate set out in your hotel offer packages offered by Riders Resort.
• Maximum room occupancy for overnight stay ranges from 2 to 4 guests (includes children aged 12 years and below) depending on the room type. Children aged 12 years and below sleep for free in the existing bedding of a shared room with a paying adult. Fees apply should a rollaway bed be required.
• A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation.
• If a third party is making payment for or guaranteeing a booking on your behalf, you agree that you are jointly and severally liable with the third party for all costs and expenses incurred on all accounts which you may now or hereafter maintain with the Riders Resort.
• All charges for your stay will be in Ringgit Malaysia.
• Blackout dates may apply.
• In the event that you complete a booking based on a rate that has been incorrectly posted, Riders Resort reserves the right to correct the rate or cancel the booking at its discretion, and will contact you directly in order to do so.
• Bookings are not transferable. No name change is allowed.

Check-in and Check-out
• You must be at least 18 years of age to check-in and register for a room.
• Check-in time is from 3pm onwards and check-out time is by 11am. A valid government issued identification or passport is required at check-in. Riders Resort reserves the right to make changes to the check-in and check-out time.
• Should you arrive at Riders Resort prior to the normal check-in time, please approach Riders Resort Front Office Desk for assistance in storing your luggage until check-in is available. If you will be arriving earlier than the normal check-in time of 3pm on your actual day of arrival, you are advised to consider booking the day before your arrival for early access to your room.
• Late check-outs are available on request subject to room availability and occupancy levels. Please check with Riders Resort Front Desk at least 24 hours prior to your departure on availability of late check-out. A half-day room charge may be imposed for late check-outs between 11am to 6pm and a full day room charge may be imposed for late check-outs after 6pm.
• A deposit of RM500 is applicable for the stay by way of cash payment or debit/credit card. A valid debit/credit card is required upon check-in for payment of incidentals in addition to full payment of the room and prevailing government taxes.
• Where you have provided payment method information to Riders Resort as part of an online check-in:
o You agree that you will be jointly and severally liable with any person/company/travel association making the booking on your behalf for all costs and expenses incurred on all accounts which you may now or hereafter maintain with the Riders Resort hotel (“Hotel Charges”), notwithstanding any other billing instructions or requests given by you.
o You authorise Riders Resort to charge the full amount of such Hotel Charges or any part thereof to the credit/debit card of which details were provided to Riders Resort during your online check-in, including in the event that you choose not to check out at the front desk. You agree that once payment of Hotel Charges has been made, you are not entitled to request for a change in the mode of payment.
o In the event that Riders Resort is unable to recover all or part of the Hotel Charges using your credit/debit card of which details were provided to Riders Resort during your online check-in, Riders Resort shall be entitled to take all necessary steps to recover the outstanding amount of the Hotel Charges from you.
• All rates are subject to a 10% service charge and prevailing government taxes.

Prohibited Acts
Riders Resort reserves the right to refuse admission, deny service or accommodation, or evict anyone from the hotel who; (i) refuses or fails to pay the Hotel Charges or (ii) engages in Undesirable Conduct. For the purpose of this clause, “Undesirable Conduct” shall mean conduct engaged by you that has the potential to endanger the health, safety or security of yourself or others or the potential to disturb the peace of the hotel or other guests; violates the standards and policies established by Riders Resort; or violates any applicable Malaysian laws and regulations, including but not limited to: (i) acting in a disorderly or irrational manner, particularly if the behaviour indicates you could be of unsound mind or under the influence of any substance, legal or illegal, that when inhaled, ingested or otherwise introduced into the body, may cause altered consciousness or behaviour, including but not limited to alcohol or drugs (“Intoxicating Substances”); (ii) where Riders Resort is of a reasonable opinion that you are engaging in illegal or unsafe behaviour, including theft, fraud, using counterfeit money or documents, violating drone laws, soliciting illegal or unlicensed services, trespassing, possessing or abusing illegal or Intoxicating Substances, violence, assault, harassment or self-harm; (iii) bringing into the hotel something that is unlawful to possess or that may be dangerous to other persons, such as a firearm, an explosive, hazardous or toxic substances; or (iv) destroying, damaging, defacing, or threatening harm to Riders Resort, our property or our reputation. Riders Resort reserves the right to seek compensation from you for any losses, damages, costs, or expenses incurred by Riders Resort as a result of you engaging in Undesirable Conduct and to take any necessary action against you to protect the health, safety or security of other guests and the general public, including without limitation removing you from the hotel with no compensation or reporting you to the relevant government authorities.

Miscellaneous
• Riders Resort shall not be in default or liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under its agreement with you relating to your hotel booking, to the extent such performance is prevented or disrupted by a Force Majeure Event or your non-compliance with Riders Resort’s safe management measures. Riders Resort may cancel the booking by written notice and all monies paid shall be returned to you in such event. For the purpose of this clause, “Force Majeure Event” shall mean a cause which arises from circumstances beyond Riders Resort’s reasonable control including but not limited to (i) strike, boycott or other industrial action; (ii) Act of God or other natural disaster such as but not limited to typhoon, hurricane, major flood, fire, damage or destruction by lightning, earthquake, volcanic activity or tsunami; (iii) any riot, civil disturbance or any act of war or terrorism; (iv) any major shortage, unavailability or disruption in the supply of labour, materials, fuels, transportation services or major disruption of postal, electrical, telephone or other utility service; (v) any epidemic, outbreaks of infectious diseases or other public health crisis including the impositions of quarantines or other employee restrictions in response to such crisis; and (vi) any governmental law, regulation, directive or advisory in effect on or after the date of the booking.
• Riders Resort liability for valuables is governed by Section 3 of the Innkeeper’s Act, “Limitation of innkeepers’ liability”. Safety deposit boxes are provided free of charge in the guestroom.
• Riders Resort may revise, alter or delete any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
• You shall indemnify and hold Riders Resort harmless in respect of any liability, loss, damage, cost and expense of any nature arising out of, and/or in connection with the acceptance of your reservation by Riders Resort.
• To the extent permitted by law, Riders Resort shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses incurred by you as a result of any cancellation of your booking by Riders Resort.
• These Terms and Conditions and the provision of our services shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia and any dispute arising out of these Terms and Conditions and our services shall be exclusively submitted to the courts of Malaysia.
• A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act to enforce any term of such agreement or these Terms and Conditions.

Personal Data Privacy
You consent to any Riders Resort-Authorised Party collecting, using, storing, and/or disclosing to another Riders Resort-Authorised Party your Data or contacting you via telephone call, text message, email and/or postal mail to: (i) administer your hotel stay booking or customer service or your relationship with any Riders Resort-Authorised Party; (ii) respond to your requests or communications; (iii) conduct surveys or Data profiling and analytics to learn about your hotel stay and preferences; (iv) improve guest experience for you and others; (v) protect the safety of persons and property; (vi) comply with or address any applicable Riders Resort-Authorised Party’s internal policies or contractual obligations, third party requests, and/or law, regulation, guideline, notice or request issued by any Authority; and/or (vii) administer any Riders Resort-Authorised Party’s legal, operational, business or development purposes. You further warrant that all information provided by you in this form is true, accurate and complete.
